Critical Fact
Retrofit of an existing 80,000SF data center to combine three existing data halls into one while maintaining existing client load and cooling requirements. Project included adding associated electrical and generator yards for expanded buildout. Responsibilities included schedule, budget, and scope management along with development of client relations.
About this Project
The schedule for this project was extremely compressed due to tenant requirements and space population dates. Some rock was encountered while excavating for the generator duct banks and in the data hall area which caused some time delays that had to be made up later in the project. It was imperative that the facility stay operational during the buildout due to existing client load and cooling requirements.
